Coaching Staff

HEAD COACH:

Meredith Rooney – holds her NSCAA Advanced National (Pass with Distinction), National, Advanced Regional, and Regional Diplomas. She is currently an Associate Staff Member for the NSCAA. Prior to NJ Stallions Academy, Meredith was Director of the Sky Blue Soccer School, an affiliate of Sky Blue FC of Womens Professional Soccer (WPS). Along with coaching the NJ Stallions Academy U13G, Coach Meredith also trains several teams, small groups, and individual players in the NJ/NY area.

Meredith was Captain of Division III powerhouse, Lynchburg College Women’s Soccer team in 2004, winning several ODAC Championships as well as making NCAA Elite 8 and Sweet 16 appearances. After college, she became the curriculum administrator for the Central Virginia Soccer Academy in 2005, and ran match analysis for Lynchburg College. During her senior year at Lynchburg she became the Jefferson Forest HS Girls Varsity Coach in Forest, VA and led the team to numerous Seminole District Titles and State Tournament appearances over three years. Prior to college, Meredith played club as captain of the FC Talons, played for the NJ State ODP team, and attended Bayley Ellard and Morristown HS playing varsity all four years.

Coach Rooney will be studying for her NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma and Premier Diploma in 2012.

Glenn Livingstone – Coach Livingstone hails from Long Island and his family has long time roots in Soccer in the US. Bio Below:

Dominique Perez – Dom currently holds his USSF “F”, USSF “E” License, and is working towards his USSF National D-Level coaching license. He was one of the co-founders of Bergen Essex Celtic SC, and has been managing with the now U13G team since they were U10.
