Brandi Chastain visits BEC U11 Girls at SkyBlue Home Game!!

At the final home game of the SkyBlue FC’s regular season, on August 5th, the BEC U11 Girls played a fun exhibition game against Battle of Monmouth Heartbreakers. The girls enjoyed playing on a pro pitch with newly appointed SkyBlue FC Trainer, Meredith Rooney, getting a great first look at what the girls could do on the field. In addition, Brandi Chastain, came on the field to visit the girls and watch them play! Brandi has met many of the players before at the U9 level while visiting the New Jersey area. Last summer, Brandi did a great skills clinic with some of the players while visiting and working as a tv correspondent for ESPN, and the girls never forgot the experience. For our U11 Girls, Brandi played when they were very young, but as a testament to Brandi’s great career, she still connects with even the youngest players in the game. As a 91er, and now a roster player for her hometown FC Gold Pride, Brandi continues to amaze fans with her abilities on the soccer field. Thank you Brandi for coming out to see the girls from BEC!!
