Brandi Chastain & BrandisWorld joins BEC on the Internet!
April 23rd, 2009
Brandi Chastain, former 1999 Womens World Cup player, and now a member of the newly formed WPS League as a member of the FC Gold Pride, has launched www.brandisworld.com, a great website for young female soccer players and their families. Brandi met some of our BEC Players recently on her trip to New Jersey with the FC Gold to play SkyBlue. (Please see recent photos in our Gallery). BrandisWorld.com has much to offer both young players and parents alike.
It’s a fun and safe atmosphere for girls, and she encourages us to register and participate in the online experience as much as possible. Everything from Brandi sharing her playing experiences to how tos’, being a player-Mom, workout tips, can be addressed and discussed on BrandisWorld. When you get a free moment, please visit her site by clicking on the BrandisWorld link on the RIGHT of the BEC Website. She sends her very best to everyone in the BEC Family. The BEC Coaching Staff is very proud to have made a friend in Brandi, someone who truly personifies Girl Empowerment thru Soccer and in life.
U10 Girls Earn 2nd Win Prevailing over Manalpan 3-0!!
April 21st, 2009
The BEC U10 Girls Team won their 2nd JAGS League game at home over Manalapan by the score of 3-0 In a game against a talented and physical team in Manalapan, the BEC U10 Girls played well defensively, and were able to get 8 Shots on Goal; 2 of which found the back of the net. Offensively, the effort was very balanced, seeing 8 quality shots on goal taken by 5 separate players. Overall the BEC Coaching staff is very pleased with the team’s progress, as the team’s record now goes to 2-0-0 with the next JAGS League matchup coming next Saturday, May 2nd when the NJSA Sting arrives to play BEC at home. The competition continues to get tougher with each game, and the players and coaches are looking to put in more hard work at practice to improve their overall play.
